As the evenings start to get lighter and the warmth returns to the days, our thoughts turn to the coming season, and this year damp wickets and soggy patches in the bowlers run up, should be a thing of the past - whatever the British Summer throws at us.
Following a successful bid for funds from Southborough Town Council we have purchased a BowDry - a foam roller which removes water - a great piece of kit, which knowing the traditional British summer weather will be well used.
We also hope to be able to improve the netting and sight screen set up following a grant from Southborough Council and await permission from the Council to proceed with a desired solution. Watch this space for more information.
