Southborough Cricket Club

This Saturday marks the final outdoor cricket event of the 2014 season and it's one that we require a good turn-out from you, the Playing Members. As an incentive (and to help those that are attending the Club Awards dinner the night before) there will be bacon sandwiches laid on as well as lashings of tea.

The main task is to help move the net over the road to its winter resting place.  This takes 15 minutes to man-handle when there are about 10 people.  Therefore if you can only give up 30 minutes of your time, please try to get there between 9:30 and 10 am to help with this tricky task. The other main activity we are looking to complete is a review of the current ground equipment to see what is still in working condition and what needs to be replaced.  Over the winter we will then try to make improvements that will help setting up on match days next season much quicker and less onerous for you.
