Southborough Cricket Club

Both the 1st and 2nd XIs won today in the first weekend of league games.  The 1st XI overcame new entrants into the League, Marden CC, by 3 wickets with 3 overs to spare. Tight bowling and good fielding saw us bowl them out for 142 and despite some nervous moments in our run chase, we eventually wrestled control to cruise over the line to record our first win since the 2013 season. The 2nd XI also bowled well in their game against Flimwell and chased down 153 with the loss of only two wickets.  For more details please read the match reports in the fixtures section.
