The season is just around the corner with the first friendly taking place against local side Pembury next Saturday (27/04). We then have one more friendly the May Bank Holiday weekend before the league starts on 11 May.
Could I urge all those looking to play this season to update their availability as soon as possible. The team has been selected for next Saturday but there are still spaces open for the second friendly so please take the opportunity to get some match practice in before the competitive stuff starts.
For those new to the club (and a reminder for others), the captains try and make team selection as early as possible for games the following weekend, focusing on publishing the team sheets on the Monday evening, so if you are available to play and wish to be considered, please update your availability for games at least one week in advance.
Just for info: we had 29 players attend at least one indoor training session over the winter, yet only 15 players have been on the site to update their availability so there are clearly a number that need to get on with this administrative though important task. If you are having difficulties in accessing the site or need a password reset, please let me know.
